JACOB'S LADDER |
Jacob's ladder, the third and last stage of the Illuminated Road, works basically like the first one, the Crossing, with the participants throwing a dice, moving their "vehicles" according to the resulting number and answering of the questions corresponding to the chosen squares. However, while the crossing is done in pairs, the participants can only go up to the Jacob's ladder individually, because now it is no more a psychological biography of the couples, but yes of spiritual self-awareness of each one.
Another difference is that there
are no short cuts in the transpersonal way, therefore there are no spades
and serpents, being of the participant’s responsibilities to go through
all the squares without retroceding, exclusively depending on the dice.

The participants start from the Ace of Diamonds, from the material unity of life, on the tower left of the board and move to the right until the Ten of Diamonds. They, then, go up to the Ace of Spades, following now to the left in the opposite way of the previous suit, until the 10th square, when them we go on to the Ace of Hearts. And, successively, the participants get to the Ten of Clubs where they find a similar mechanism to the crossing of New Jerusalem, only finishing the game when the dice shows in exact number to get out of the board.
The difference is that, while in the crossing, the participants conquered in pairs the right to social utopia (New Jerusalem), and the possibility to conjugal happiness (the game of the twin soul) in Jacob's Ladder, the winners find in the Ain Soph, the incognito endless end, reintegrating him/herself definitely in Eternity.
